About Company
Founder of Gem Arts Emporium; Mr. Mahaveer Dhaddha (Jain), comes from a lineage of Jaipur jewelers. His family has been dealing in colored gem stones for over 100 years. As a child he would sit with his father and sort stones. In those days the stones would be sorted only in the sunlight on clear days. Even his mother participated in washing the rough stones. The hardness of the stone was decided by striking the stones on plates of Kansa (combination of 3 alloys) and listening for the sound.
